MY WALKING WORLD  David Preston

A Long Weekend in Wales near Brecon

16th - 18th March 2007 - This was a long weekend organised by the Internet based walking club 40sWalkersNorth. 14 of us stayed at the Youth Hostel at Libanus near Brecon for several days walking in the Brecon Beacons. The plan was to complete some of the walks from the Guidebook " The Mountains of England and Wales - Volume 1 Wales by John and Anne Nuttall. Over the 3 days we climbed 11 summits in varied weather conditions. A most enjoyable weekend with excellent company
