CATBELLS AND DERWENT WATER

31/03/06 - Took the caravan up to the Lake District and stayed on the Camping and Caravan Club site at Keswick. A superb site overlooking the lake with fine views of Catbells and to the North there was a great view of Skiddaw. There had been a considerable amount of rain before we arrived and we had plenty while we were there during the night. Luckily on the Friday and Saturday when we went walking it remained dry on both days and we had some great views from the fells

The Caravan site at Keswick, slightly waterlogged but all the caravans were on hard standing. The views were superb. Latrig is on the right with Skiddaw Little Man on the left

Only five minutes walk into the town with a good variety of Pubs, shops and places to eat.
