Just had a great couple of days up in the
Yorkshire Dales where I managed to climb 7 Nuttalls in the two
days. There are a total of 251 in England and I have 86 still
to climb. Due to the distance from home a bit of careful
planning is needed. I think the way to complete these is to
travel up for two days at a time and stay up there overnight,
although I can stay in a B&B I think the best way will be to
camp which means I can get an early start on the second day. I
will be putting a list of the unclimbed peaks in the walks
list at the top of this page.
The little bus on my walks means I have used public transport
to get to a walk. |

I am planning to walk from Blair Atholl to
Aviemore, this walk is about 39 miles and seems to be within
my capabilities. I believe there are a couple of river
crossings that may cause a problem if the river is in spate
but I will worry about that when the time comes. I would like
to think I could complete this walk in about 3 days and am
planning to do this towards the end of April in 2012
A family holiday in Spain in the early summer
will give me the opportunity to have a look around the
mountains in Costa Blanca as long as its not to hot |
