MY WALKING WORLD

The Nantile Ridge in Snowdonia

On Sunday 23rd Jan 2005 I walked the Nantile Ridge in Snowdonia with the 40sWalkers North Club. Nine of us met up at the car park at Rhyd Ddu on the A4085. The day looked promising with a clear blue sky with scattered cloud. We climbed Y garn, Mynydd Drws-y-coed, Trum y Ddysgl and Mynydd Tal-y-mignedd  and after lunch on the last peak we retraced our steps onto Trum y Ddysgl and then down the eastern flank and back through Beddgelert Forest to Rhyd Ddu, the day was rounded off with a quick drink in the Cellyn Arms at Rhydd Ddu
