28/09/03 Weather - Sunny but cool
This walk was from the Fell Road which runs from Waberthaite to Broughton. I climbed Buck Barrow, Whit Fell, Burn Moor and Kinmont Buck Barrow -A very quiet area until I stopped for lunch on Whit Fell, I must have met around 15 people in various groups while I was stopped. It was interesting to talk to the Vintage motor cycle riders on the Fell Road, they had come over Hard Knott Pass, quite a feat for these magnificent bikes which were all over 50 years old
